Saturday, May 2nd– A Huge success once again! THANK YOU ALL! We had a beautiful day for MAPA's annual participation in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk on Milwaukee’s lakefront. One of our big charity events each year and one that is near and dear to the hearts of many members.
MAPA Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk on Milwaukee's Lakefront. This is one of most generously supported events by MAPA members for over 8 years. Walk with us on the Milwaukee Lakefront!! All proceeds go to the American Cancer Society for this most worthy cause. Meet at the O'Donnell Park Pavillion at 9am (look for the MAPA banner). Donate on line (link to the left :) on this webpage). We can STILL DONATE for this fight against cancer.
And thank you to Slim McGinn's Pub and Eatery. 338 S. 1st Street, Milwaukee. For directions and a preview of their menu's: http://www.slimmcgi nns.com/ . The burgers and tuna were excellent!

Are you planning to attend this year’s Meeting of the Minds (our national “convention” in Key West)? We always have a great time there and now they have even booked the band Little Feat as the Saturday night headliner – WOW! They’ve also made some nice change this year to make it even more enjoyable. Here is a quote from this year’s Director of Conventions, Charlotte Skinner:
“1) Everyone will be able to bring a folding beach chair to the Casa. You will only be able to sit on the beach area that is located on the left side of the big stage. You will NOT be able to sit in these chairs in the area in front of the big stage.
2) The Breakfast Buffet from Monday to Sunday will be $15.00....not $22.00
3) The Casa will be putting out their signs all over the property telling everyone how much the drink specials will be plus what they will have on Happy Hour at the Sun Sun Bar.
